Late Ming dynasty
Of Swatow type, the curving well centered with a lion dog roundel drawn in underglaze blue and surrounded by flowering plants and diamond diapers picked out in green and iron red enamels that also define the flowers and phoenix on the exterior walls, the patches of glaze in the recessed base displaying kiln sand (rim repaired and retouched).
