The anthemion carved over scrolled crest above rectangular sides and serpentine rail raised on square legs ending in casters.

    Francois-Honore-Jacob used this stamp from 1813-1825.

    Chateau de Bizy was built in 1740 for Fouquet, Duke de Belle Isle, Marshal of France. Famous for its stables inspired by those of Versailles, Bizy was successively owned by King Louis XV, the Duke of Penthievre and King Louis-Philippe.

    By repute once the property of Princess Amelie of Orléans (September 28, 1865–October 28, 1951). She was the eldest daughter of Prince Philippe, Count of Paris and his wife and cousin Princess Marie Isabelle d'Orléans. She was the last Queen consort of Portugal and was known by her husband's subjects as Maria Amélia. In 1910 the royal house of Portugal was deposed and Princess Amelie lived in Paris for the rest of her life.
