Telleo was an Otomi Indian schooled in the cures and curses of Otomi shamans. The figures in the silhouettes represent superhuman entities relevant to nature, kinship, fertility, healing, and the spirit world. The Otomi were once part of the Aztec empire, settled northeast of Mexico City.
This one-off booklet can unfold to a length of over 12 feet; beautifully done.
