RARE HANDBILL RELATING TO THE FIRST MURDER ON A BRITISH TRAIN. Muller killed Thomas Briggs on a railway carriage and immediately sailed for New York. Both killer and victim lost their hats in the struggle and thanks to quick and expert sleuthing, Muller was actually overtaken while crossing the Atlantic and arrested when he disembarked in New York. Worthy of Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot.
