4to (215 x 185 mm). Illustrated throughout with color woodcut prints, including a four-panel folding woodcut signed by the artist. Original decorative cloth, woodcut endpapers, paper cover and spine labels. Mild darkening to spine and to cover edges, else fine.
LIMITED EDITION, one of 500 copies, signed by the artist on the panorama print. The Writer's Edition cooperative was founded in the belief that "regional publication should foster the growth of American art and literature" (colophon). The title states that Baumann printed the woodblocks for this edition himself.
