RARE LARGE-FORMAT AMERICAN SPORTING PRINTS, including Remington's first two published color prints. His images, "Hunting Antelope" and "Goose Shooting," are only preceded by monochrome photogravures in John Muir's Picturesque California (1888) and two individually published monochrome prints.
Gould's work includes six angling plates (three of fly-fishing), four plates of game-bird hunting and five of hunting larger game, each reproduced from watercolors commissioned expressly for this publication.
