Two manuscript sketches, being French pilotage charts for the ports of Palma and Port de Pollenza, Majorca, brown ink on paper, each 330 x 230mm, [France], c.1700, each pilotage chart showing a coastal profile of the bay with principal buildings and details indexed alphabetically and described in French below, the bays decorated with a compass rose, several soundings and an anchorage position marked, some light staining and creasing to margins.

An interesting pair of pilotage charts for the principal ports of Majorca, presumably part of a larger derrotero or log recording anchorages in the western Mediterranean.
