Images include: Castro giving a speech; electoral campaign of Havana Mayor Nicolás Castellanos, later leader of the Cuban National Party (several shots); rare shot of Alan Robert Nye, ex-US Marine hired by the CIA to assassinate Castro, leaving prison in 1959 after his failed attempt; Antonio Prio campaigning for mayor; Eloy Gutierrez Menoyo, organizer of the anti-Government paramilitary organization Alpha 66; Celia Sanchez, rumored lover of Castro; a rally.
