Volume 3 only (but some numbers of Vol 2 bound in). Folio (490 x 317 mm). 96 issues plus 4 broadside supplements, index, title-page, and shipping list. Printed in 5 columns. Modern plain cloth. Lacks issue #64, very minor foxing at ends, stain to front cover.
VERY EARLY RUN OF A VITAL HONG KONG WEEKLY. The China Mail ran from 1845 to 1974, founded by Scotsman, Andrew Shortrede. About 15 years later, Shortrede became famous for publishing the Hong Kong Directory, which included a list of foreign residents in China.
