Folio (282 x 186 mm). AA BB8 CC6 A-N8 O6. Woodcut title border, title in red and black, woodcut illustrations throughout. Later vellum, gilt-lettered spine label. Small tears and brief repairs in title-page margin, faint occasional dampstain mainly in margins, a few brief repairs to final leaf, some faded marginalia, binding soiled, a few small tears, extremities rubbed.
Provenance: W.C. Mylne (bookplate); Edward Everett Horton (bookplate).
SECOND EDITION IN ITALIAN. The only surviving major architectural work from classical antiquity and a major influence on Renaissance architects. Adams V 915; Fowler p.313.
