4to (205 x 142 mm). a-l8 m-n6. 100 ll. 35 lines plus headline. Roman and Gothic type. 3- to 7-line initial spaces with guide-letters. Period blindstamped vellum-backed oak boards, clasp. Period marginalia, minor fingersoiling, traces of labels on spine, foot chipped.

Fourth edition of Ficino's medical manual, with health and dietary measures to ameliorate the influences of the stars. In the Apologia he explicitly denounces demonic magic, to preempt criticism from the Church. BMC III 759; Goff F-160; Hain *7063.
