16 volumes. 8vo (242 x 146 mm). Approx. 800 plates including approx. 675 hand-colored. Early half-morocco and marbled boards, marbled edges and endpapers, spines gilt. Sporadic offsetting and foxing, some minor marginal tears without loss, several volumes subtly rebacked with original spines laid down, a few repairs to joints, upper board of vol I nearly detached, chip to head of spine vol XIV.
