Sporadic offsetting and foxing, some minor marginal tears without loss, several volumes subtly rebacked with original spines laid down, a few repairs to joints, upper board of vol I nearly detached, chip to head of spine vol XIV.
COMPLETE SET. In addition to Cuvier's acclaimed bird illustrations, these volumes collect his illustrations of Mammalia, Pisces, Insecta, Reptilia, Mollusca & Radiata, Annelida, Crustacea & Arachnida, and Fossil Remains. Nissen ZBI 1015.
