Some light spots and toning to some plates, wear to spine.

ABRIDGED VERSION of the first English edition, published in the same year. The second Russian expedition into the South Sea for scientific exploration, sponsored by Count Romanzoff, was commanded by Lieutenant Kotzebue, and included the famous artist Ludovik Choris.
