Original pictorial boards. Plates clean but for slight toning to two or three, spotting to sheet music, offsetting throughout, hinges carefully reinforced, creasing to backstrip, some rubbing and mild wear to boards.

FIRST EDITION, SECOND ISSUE, IN PUBLISHER'S PICTORIAL BOARDS, WITH AUTOGRAPH NOTE SIGNED BY EGAN loosely inserted, 1 p, 8vo, n.p., October 6, 1829, to O. Clarke, Esq. In the note, Egan apologizes for being unable to provide a copy of the Colosseum and directs Clarke to Mr. Dowling, Editor of Bell's Life in London. Abbey Life 281; Cohn 262; Tooley 196.
