4to (282 x 186 mm). viii, 136 pp. Half-title. 24 hand-colored aquatint plates. Publisher's green-brown cloth with printed paper labels to spine and upper board, edges uncut. Custom half-morocco clamshell case. Light wear.
Provenance: Anne Denison (period ownership signature to top margin of title); T.O. Lloyd (armorial bookplate).
FIRST EDITION, LARGE PAPER COPY, with the half-title present. An early example of publishers' cloth. Abbey Life 387; Tooley 128.
