Folio (360 x 216 mm). [iv], [5]-682, [14]. Engraved folding map, 2 engraved folding plans, and 66 engraved plates (2 folding). Period quarter morocco over boards. Short tear to "Plan...of the Royal Fire-Works," same plate slightly browned, short marginal tears at folds of two plates, some light browning to folding costume plate, occasional offsetting, boards and spine scuffed and worn. Provenance: Martha Milborne (period ownership signature to title).
FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE with four-page list of subscribers rather than six.
