Folio (353 x 219 mm). [40], 807, [74] pp. Engraved vignette title and illustrated throughout with woodcut vignettes in text, woodcut initials, head and tail pieces. Pages 229-300 bound out of order, between pp 440-41. Royal morocco with arms of James I, rebacked with original spine laid down, large gilt armorial centerpiece and gilt corner-pieces to upper and lower covers, elaborate gilt fleur-de-lis, thistle, and floral devices, edges gilt. Some wrinkling to title and prelims, faint dampstaining to blank lower margin and gutters of prelims, endpapers cracked, some wear to extremities, rubbing to gilt edges.
