17.18g. Price-167b. Obverse: Head of Athena facing right, in pearl necklace, pendant earring, & triple-crested Corinthian helmet with coiled serpent device on bowl. Reverse: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Nike standing left, holding wreath & stylus. The obverse of this coin is not only struck in magnificent high relief, but it is also beautifully centered. This is one of the finest distaters of Alexander the Great in existence. The reverse is not quite fully struck. Extremely Fine to Uncirculated
