In the form of a leg with chased and repoussé decoration showing a female bust emerging from a large four-clawed talon, her drapery tied in a knot at her left shoulder, flanked by volute scrolls and acanthus leaves, the flange beneath with overlapping leaves, a pedestal foot below, 8in (20.3cm) high
