Arabic manuscript and watercolour on paper, the central roundel comprising the bismallah and the ta'widh in dull yellow in thuluth script against a plain ground; the names of the four righteous Caliphs in white in blue cartouches in the corners of the central rectangle, all against ogival cartouches on a ground of stylised floral motifs; the wide outer border with Ayat al-Kursi in light brown thuluth script on a dark blue ground, narrow floral outer border, framed
