Arabic manuscript on yellowish cream-coloured paper, 93 leaves, 11 lines to the page written in neat and clear naskhi script in black ink, illuminated markers between verses, inner margins ruled in gold and red, catchwords, occasional illuminated devices in outer margins, headings written in naskhi script in white within gilt cartouches flanked by gilt floral motifs in gold and some colour, two illuminated headpieces in colours and gold, outer borders of folios 1v-2r richly decorated with intertwining floral motifs and serrated leaves in two shades of gold, lower corners rather thumbed, discoloration, some worming restricted to upper part of the inner margin, brown morocco with stamped central medallions, cornerpieces and panels in outer borders of gilt leather onlay, decorated with serrated leaves and floral motifs, doublures of maroon morocco gilt, some crude repairs, worn, rebacked, with flap
