Ceylon, late 18th/ early 19th Century
each with curved single-edged blade, the guards and quillons elaborately carved in relief with animal masks and foliage, the grip-pommels in the form of dragon's heads with inlaid pink gemstones and gilt decoration, the wood sheaths entirely clad in silver decorated in repoussé with intricate floral and vegetal interlace
