A set of Mughal gilt glass Bottles in a contemporary fitted Box
Gujerat, 18th Century
each square in section, tapering at the shoulder to a narrow, short cylindrical neck, the four sides with alternating gilded floral decoration, the shoulder with dense foliate design and the neck with vertical stripes, each section with plain gilt border and repeating chevron design, three with silver and gilt mount to neck, glass stoppers with gilt sunburst design, one a 19th Century European-made replacement; all in a contemporary rosewood casket with silver mounts, with six internal compartments to fit the bottles
