Arabic manuscript on paper, 230 leaves, 18 lines to the page written in maghribi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in red and green, yellow dots between verses, catchwords, the words rub and hizb written in black ink in outer borders, sura headings written in a stylised naskhi script in yellow outlined in red, folio 1v with stylised yellow palmettes extending into the outer border, trimmed, staining and soiling, waqf inscriptions at beginning and end of manuscript, one dated AH 1191/AD 1777-78, modern brown leather with blind-tooled central medallions, cornerpieces and inner borders, with flap
