George I bureau bookcase
A Queen Anne figured walnut, crossbanded and feather bureau cabinet
In three parts, the rectangular ogee moulded cornice above a pair of stellar etched bevelled mirrored doors enclosing three shelves and six pigeonholes, above a pair of candleslides, the middle part above a sloping fall with a ledge enclosing a later baize, with a sliding well, ten pigeonholes and five drawers, the lower part with waist moulding above three long graduated drawers on later bun feet, 91cm wide, 61cm deep, 204cm high (35.5" wide, 24" deep, 80" high).
