A George I walnut, crossbanded and featherbanded bureau cabinet
The upper part with a moulded cornice above a door inset with a shaped mirror panel within a cushion moulded frame enclosing three adjustable shelves and three short drawers, the lower part with a sloping fall enclosing a fitted interior of a sliding well with 'secret' drawers, six short drawers and various pigeon holes above four long graduated drawers, on bracket feet, 58cm wide, 50cm deep, 490cm high (22.5" wide, 19.5" deep, 193" high).
