An album of 126 views and portraits compiled by P. de Sonnaville, albumen prints, most by Sebah, captioned in manuscript on the mounts, mounted one per page and back to back, typically 210 x 265mm., various ephemera, such as newspaper clippings, loosely inserted, a pass, in French and Arabic, entitling Sonnaville access to Egyptian antiquities, signed by the Director General for Conservation, and numbered 1421, pasted to front free endpaper, a map of the Nile and "List of Passengers per P.S. "Rameses III" Leaving Cairo, 7th February 1893" pasted to inside upper cover, cloth, "Reis 1893 P. de Sonnaville IV. Egypte" in gilt on upper cover, oblong folio (310 x 390mm.), 1893
