An album containing a number of views in Central Africa, most notably Victoria Falls, and a number of equine photographs in India, specifilcally Ooty, compiled by a member of Magdalen College, Oxford, and including some good views of Oxford colleges and the city, various processes, including a number of platinum prints with blindstamps by Gillman & Co., captioned in manuscript on the mounts, typically mounted one per page and back to back, images typically 295 x 365mm., handpainted Magdalen College crest heightened in gilt on front free endpaper, morocco, with blue velvet cover, large oblong folio (365 x 450mm.), 1900 and later

Compiled by a graduate of Magdalen who went on to join the Army, presumably the cavalry. A number of images show military camps and Officers in Africa, later moving to Ooty, India, where there is a focus upon equine portraits.
