An album containing 34 views and native studies, albumen prints, captioned in pencil, contemporary morocco, defective, oblong 4to, [c.1870]


  • Compiled by General Richard Harte Keatinge V.C., decorated for his role in the siege of Chandairi (1858). The album includes: gardens at Nagpur, the marble rocks at Jabalpur, Mr Morris' residency at Nagpur, the camp and caves at Pachmarhi, Mandla, acrobats and dancers at Mandla, a native sugar cane mill, Printing Press Office at Rajkot, two studio portraits by the Maharaja of Jaipur, a carved stone pig at Bundelkhand, Kamthi road roller, Kamthi Bridge under construction, and the recently-opened Rajkumar College.
