A Queen Anne "Legacy" tankard

Tapering form with reeded skirted foot, cover with stepped and domed moulding and applied with scroll thumb-piece, the base engraved "John Walker Legacy to Ann Walker 1703" then later engraved around the edge "The gift of Mr John Sharpe to Col George Buck May 24th 1786", and script initials "GAB", height 21.5cm, weight 38oz.
