the sugar and cream by Charles Fox, the teapot possibly by John Wakefield, London 1827-28
Compressed circular form with central embossed girdle, leaf-capped reeded loop handles, the teapot with ivory insulators and knop finial, the body of each piece bright-engraved with foliate scrolls on a pitted ground, raised on a circular collet foot, length of teapot 27cm, weight 34oz.
