Shaped oval form. the side pierced with foliate scrolls and terminating in leaf-capped handles, raised on a domed oval foot with pierced scroll rim; together with two Victorian silver salts, by John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, London 1889, octafoil form, heavily cast with male masks and fruit, the base decorated with circles and trefoils, each raised on four double-scroll feet, and six Victorian dishes, by William Comyns & Sons, London 1892, circular form, the pierced rims decorated with cherub heads, c-scrolls, swans, shells and fruit, length of basket approx 27cm, weight 37.5oz.
