A 19th century French silver bachelor's coffee pot
maker's mark indistinct
Of tapering cylindrical form, the hinged lid with domed leaf embossed finial, with guilloche borders, the body with applied girdle, the lower half applied with swags and engraved with a crest, turned wood handle; together with a continental covered sugar bowl, engraved with stylised leaves, the cover with acorn finial, raised on three applied paw feet with mask junctions, a continental caster, urn form, the pierced head with acorn finial, the lower body with embossed acanthus leaves and a continental oval die-stamped bowl, decorated with flowers and c-scrolls, height 13cm, weight total 34.5oz. (4)
