A modern Danish silver peg tankard
with maker's mark 'TITULC' and S830 standard mark
In the 17th century style, the hinged lid with chased border of fruit, flowers and leaves on a stippled ground around a raised central plain cartouche, the main body with three cloud-shaped cartouches similarly chased, with stylised scroll handles with applied lion and ball thumbpiece, raised on three applied claw and ball feet; together with a late 19th/early 20th century German silver beaker by Eduard Wollenweber, cylindrical form, with applied reeded rim, the body with embossed band of floral scrolls, each side with a circular cartouche, one set with a coin, the other embossed with a horse's head, raised on three ball feet, height of tankard 17.5cm, weight 44oz.
