Rectangular form, the tortoiseshell body inset with ropetwist and plain pique work bands, the centre inset with a ribboned rectangular cartouche, the cover opening to reveal scissors, pencil, scent flask, knife, fork and ivory markers, height 9cm, together with two similar tortoiseshell scent flask etuis, upright rectangular form with canted sides, one, plain with inset circular cartouche to the cover, the other, inset with stellar and star borders and central oval cartouche, each opening to reveal a scent bottle, tallest 7cm.
