A pair of late 19th Continental silver and clear glass decanters
apparently unmarked, circa 1900
Of globular form with spirally flutes, the tops with hinged covers surmounted by a demi horse issuing from acanthus leaves and the collar embossed with playful putto, each decanter sits in a silver receiver pierced with latticework and alternate plain and floral decorated cartouches, the sloping foot with similar decoration, height 33.7cm.
