Convex form with screw and hinged lid, the front with machine-turned engraving and central cartouche engraved with initials 'PB', the reverse plain, with engraved dedication, 'Peter Bawden a Great Host Elmer Decker', length 18.2cm; together with a George IV snuff box, possibly by William Esterbrook, London 1824, rectangular form with rounded corners, all-over machine-turned decoration and applied floral rims, the hinged cover with rectangular cartouche engraved with a monogram, gilt interior, length 9.3cm, weight 11oz.
