In the style of the jarros de picco of the 16/17th centuries, cylindrical form with reeded borders, the body applied with six cast buttresses with applied scrolls and geometric shapes, all embellished with chased C-scrolls and vacant oval reserves, the curved scroll handle with acanthus leaf detail, cast spout in the form of a gaping mask, raised on a stepped circular foot, height 16.2cm, weight 30.5oz.
