A 20th century Dutch silver miniature model of a fairground organ
maker's mark in a waisted rectangular punch with central tapering cylinder flanked by diagonal letters 'AR', with post-1953 standard mark
Hollow and of shaped-rectangular form, the front with central pipes flanked by a drummer and a trumpet player, the lower facade with applied scroll cartouche containing an engraved boat scene, flanked by floral wreaths containing upper bodies of figures with their hands in the air, with applied scroll foliate border, the reverse with applied central organ grinder wheel, musical figures and scrolls, raised on three rotating wheels, with applied handle to one end; together with a 20th century Dutch miniature statue of Erasmus standing and reading, raised on a square plinth enclosed by a gate, all on a square base, plinth engraved 'Desiderius Erasmus', height of statue 7.5cm, length of organ from front wheel to handle 11.5cm, weight 7.5oz.
