Repoussé decorated hinged lid and sides each depicting rural village scenes of Bengal peasants carrying and preparing food; together with a pair of silver vases, by Dass & Dutt, Calcutta, circa 1900, bulbous form, with tapering neck and wavy rim and two repousse bands depicting Bengal rural village scenes, one with figures carrying food, the other with men hunting deer, each raised on a circular collet foot, height of vases 8.5cm, length of box 11.4cm, weight 14.5oz.
