A 19th century silver shallow two-handled bowl
bearing pseudo Chinese "hallmarks" and also stamped "Lamb" and "Sydney"
The compressed sides with spiral flutes beneath a rope-twist girdle, centre embossed with acanthus leaves on square and matted ground, the cast handles formed as elaborate scrolls, raised on a collet foot, height 8cm, diameter 14cm, weight 7.5oz.
