A 19th century Russian silver-gilt throne salt

Conventional form, the back pierced with vertical slats and engraved with a central star, the body engraved with zig-zag borders, the seat engraved with a flowerhead with a reserve of cryllic text, the interior cover engraved with a chicken in a circular reserve, raised on four scrolling bracket feet, height 6cm, weight 2oz.
