A Danish silver large two-handled covered bowl
assay masters mark for C F Heise, maker's mark CC, Copenhagen 1920, also with Dansk Arbejde mark
Domed pull-off cover, the ebonised egg form finial encased with graduated bands of beads, with a stylised laurel band interspersed with scrolls and flower heads, the broad bellied body with stylised scrolls and bunches of grapes around two oval reserves, the carved handles with silver junctions, on a spreading foot with similar banded decoration and four scroll junctions, height 35cm, weight total 74.5oz.
