Blackened leather exterior, with leather brass studded corners (one missing) and protectors, lock mount incuse stamped BTE S.G.D.G. LOUIS VUITTON, with replaced clasps, the sides with shaped brass drop handles, incuse stamped L VUITTON, underside with wood slats, the interior lacking the tray has been later paper lined, original paper label visible "1 RUE SCRIBE LOUIS VUITTON...remainder not distinguishable", height 25.5cm, length 85cm, depth 48cm.
