A silver serving dish
by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1906
Spherical form, the plain pull-off dome cover with tongue and dart rim, with ivory disc finial, the inside with a removable two-handle liner resting within the two handled base, with turned ivory bar handles, all on four leaf-capped scroll supports, terminating on shell feet, with a circular receiver supporting a detachable oil reserve (lacking cover), height 18cm, length handle to handle 22cm, weight total 27oz.
