Oval form with textured cross-hatched surface and polished band, opening to reveal a quivering silver-gilt turtle among oxidised rocks and red enamelled flowers, all on a translucent green ground; together with two further examples, one, London 1974, numbered 68, with textured surface and polished band, opening to reveal a kangaroo with a joey in her pouch (detached), on a oxidised ground, the other, London 1978, numbered 140, with satin finish and polished band, opening to reveal a gilt hedgehog walking among a reeded plant and oxidised stones all on a translucent green enamelled ground, with two pierced lattice silver-gilt stands, height of each egg approx. 7cm.
