SIMON BENNEY: A unique 18 carat gold and diamond set boomerang
maker's mark for Simon Benney, London 2004
Conventional boomerang shape,
the front engraved with a scene influenced by the Bayeux tapestry, with three soldiers and three horseman in battle, throwing not spears but boomerangs, the chainmail uniforms set with diamonds,
the reverse engraved HUNT FOR THE BOOMERANG, SUMMER 2004, with the boomerang logo set in diamonds, contained in original fitted case, length 40.4cm, weight total 561.6gms.
