A George II Irish silver salver

Shaped-circular form with a moulded and applied border of shell and scroll motifs, raised on four scroll feet embellished with acanthus leaves, the centre flat chased with an outer band of trailing foliage and panels of hatching, later engraved with presentation inscription "Joseph Booth Esqr in token of my Esteem Edward Tisdall 30th March 1821", reverse engraved "39.10", diameter 35.3cm, weight 38.62oz.
