A pair of Venetian silver shell bowls
stamped "VISINONI 925 VENEZIA"
Formed as scallop shells, all over spot-hammered, the bowl embossed with central acanthus leaf emanating from a beaded stem and flanked by smaller scrolling leaves, raised on three applied feet formed as mussel shells, diameter 13cm; together with a small oval tray, with pierced sides and beaded rim, and two Italian graduating trays, both stamped "VISINONI 800 VENEZIA", one of shaped square, the other of shaped rectangular form, each with applied reeded border and acanthus leaf handles, length of trays 27.7cm and 23.2cm, weight 44.5oz.
