An early 20th century Russian silver presentation plaque, contained in a leather covered and gilt tooled folder
by Pavel Akimovich Ovchinnikov, stamped with Imperial eagle, kokoshnik for 1896 - 1908
Upright rectangular form, with applied ribbon tied oval reserve husk swags and foliate festoons all above scrolling acanthus leaf scrolls, also applied presentation in Cyrillic script also the green stained leather covered folder, moire silk lined, with gilt tooled inscription "To the greatly respected Director Vasily Rudolfovich Hirschfield from the Mechanics, Craftsmen and Boys of the Company J Blok in Moscow 1902" together with a printed presentation certificate , height of plaque 38cm, weight 28.5oz.
